According to the homosexual website the Advocate, California has become the first state to have a homosexual war memorial [emphasis added]:
Gov. Jerry Brown signed into law a bill Monday designating the LGBTQ Veterans Memorial at the Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City as the state’s official LGBTQ veterans memorial…
It consists of an obelisk of mahogany granite from South Dakota with the logo of the Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Veterans of America (the group is now known as American Veterans for Equal Rights).
So let’s get this straight (no pun intended): Read more
Though it isn’t being reported this way, last Friday President Trump actually rescinded the ban he previously implemented on transgenders in the military last August. The new memorandum (PDF) explicitly withdrew his prior policy:
I hereby revoke my memorandum of August 25, 2017, “Military Service by Transgender Individuals,” and any other directive I may have made with respect to military service by transgender individuals.
The new memo did not institute a new presidential directive. Rather, the President deferred to the Department of Defense — that is, the “independent judgment” of the DoD — with regard to its policies. He said [emphasis added]:
These [DoD-produced] documents set forth the policies on this issue that the Secretary of Defense, in the exercise of his independent judgment, has concluded should be adopted by the Department of Defense.
It’s a clever move. Lawsuits and Read more
LGBT activists are in a full-court press to convince the American public and military leadership they have a “right” to serve in the US military. One of their messages in that effort has been “We are already here” (#Wearealreadyhere):
In other words, according to activists, transgenders are already in the military, so Read more
Activists for military homosexual groups have filed amicus briefs opposing the Masterpiece Cakeshop in its appeal to the US Supreme Court. The bakery was accused of violating state law when it declined to create a cake for a same-sex “wedding” (see records of the case).
Apparently fearing a victory for Masterpiece Cakeshop would inhibit homosexuals’ rights within the military, Ashley Broadway — a self-described homosexual “devout Christian” — of the American Military Partner Association said (with authority):
A business that is open to the public should be open to public — period. LGBT service members and their families sacrifice so much around the world for our country, and the last thing they deserve is to be denied service here at home simply because of who they are.
That’s great. It also has nothing to do with Read more
The US Air Force recently declared it would promote 100% of its eligible Captains to the rank of Major. This differs from past practice in which an otherwise qualified officer might not be promoted only because of an administrative limitation on personnel, not any issue of merit. A failure to promote to the rank of Major is essentially career-ending.
The decision is being criticized in some circles for the alleged reduction in standards being used to fill a gap in recruiting and retention.
First, there isn’t a recruiting and retention crisis. Just ask any LGBT activist, as they Read more
Kevin Johnson is the pastor of Bloom in the Desert Ministries United Church of Christ, a small congregation that meets in the local community center in Palm Springs, CA. Johnson is an “out gay man” who, though admitting no connection with the military, took religious issue with President Trump’s tweeted ban on transgenders in the US military:
The trans ban rewards religious prejudice. It does not enhance military readiness. The skills and success of trans military personnel currently serving prove the ban will squander investments in training and cumulative years of service…
Arguably, a ban on a group of individuals does have the potential to “enhance military readiness” if, by Read more
From KLM Airlines, as they tried to promote a “pro-gay” advertisement:
Thank you KLM, for clearly demonstrating that when a designer creates two components to be complementary, trying to mix and match to create your own combinations just doesn’t click.
As some people pointed out, it’s also unsafe. Read more
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division celebrated LGBT “pride” last month, with its commanding officer saying they should all make a point to know more about each other — presumably, given the context, referring to each other’s sexual practices. US Navy CAPT Godfrey “Gus” Weekes said:
LGBT Pride Month affirms our commitment to increase awareness, mutual respect, and understanding of all members of our workforce. Let’s take the theme ‘Ask, Share and Learn’ to heart and embrace knowing more about our colleagues and celebrating our collective diversity…
