\"\"US Army Soldier Jarrett William Smith out of Fort Riley recently pleaded guilty<\/a> to “distributing explosives information”.<\/p>\n

Smith used social media to advise others on how to construct improvised explosive devices, or IEDs, McAllister said. Among the explosives was a recipe for improvised napalm…<\/p>\n

Smith detailed the instructions for how to construct a cellphone detonator for an IED \u201cin the style of the Afghans.\u201d He also detailed how to build a bomb using the heads of matches.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Due to be sentenced in May, prosecutors are recommending “supervised release”.<\/p>\n

Smith’s motivation? The devil, apparently.<\/p>\n

While Smith’s defense attorney awkwardly called his own client<\/a> an internet “troll” who was “spouting off online”, Smith had said his purpose was the overthrow of the government and<\/p>\n

for the glory of his Satanist religion<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The political group The Satanic Temple recently demanded<\/a> religious recognition at the US Naval Academy — with no apparent self-awareness. And there has been a long line of members of the US military who have been motivated by their Muslim faith to attack or plan to attack their fellow troops or their country.<\/p>\n

Yet, it’s interesting to note Christians in the US military — who have no such examples of violence motivated by their faith — are the only ones having to routinely defend their right to exercise their faiths while they serve in the US military.<\/p>\n

They’re forced to defend their right to say “I am a Christian” against those who claim they’re trying to take over the world and start a nuclear war.<\/p>\n

It’s almost as if the reason some people want to restrict the freedom of Christians is because they don’t like their Christ. But surely people wouldn’t act in such obvious bigotry… would they?<\/p>\n
