Jerry Brown signed into law a bill Monday designating <strong>the LGBTQ Veterans Memorial<\/strong> at the Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City as the state\u2019s <strong>official LGBTQ veterans memorial<\/strong>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>It consists of an obelisk of mahogany granite from South Dakota with the <strong>logo of the Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Veterans of America<\/strong> (the group is now known as American Veterans for Equal Rights).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So let&#8217;s get this straight (no pun intended): <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>If a town raises a monument with the names of <strong>all<\/strong> of its war dead and <strong>uses a cross<\/strong>, said town will be sued all the way to the Supreme Court with <strong>demands the monument be destroyed<\/strong> or have the cross-bar cut off so it no longer looks like a cross. The reason? A group of atheists will claim the <strong>shape<\/strong> does not represent &#8220;all&#8221; it was supposed to memorialize. (That&#8217;s the <a href=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/2018\/08\/01\/109-members-of-congress-file-scotus-brief-on-bladensburg-cross\/\">Bladensburg Peace Cross<\/a>, among others, if you haven&#8217;t been keeping up.)\u00a0 The memorial cannot even have <em>had<\/em> a <strong>Christian symbol<\/strong> on it &#8212; <em>in the past<\/em>.\u00a0 That&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/2016\/03\/28\/boone-county-war-memorial-with-hidden-ichthus-finally-moved\/\">Boone County<\/a>, by the way.<\/p>\n<p>But if a State designates a war memorial for <strong>only those who had sexual relations in a certain manner<\/strong> &#8212; complete with symbology to that effect &#8212; that&#8217;s ok.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/biblehub.com\/hebrews\/13-14.htm\">This world is not my home<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-like\" data-share=\"true\" data-show-faces=\"true\" data-size=\"small\" data-action=\"like\" data-layout=\"standard\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><strong>ADVERTISEMENT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><!-- blogpost --><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-ad-slot=\"2728423835\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6450825356098669\"><\/ins><script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});<\/script><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to the homosexual website the Advocate, California has become the first state to have a homosexual war memorial [emphasis added]: Gov.
