From my post at USCIRF, I look forward to doing all that I can to ensure that our government is the single biggest defender of religious freedom internationally&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Tony Perkins and <!--more-->the FRC &#8212; along with their VP retired Gen Jerry Boykin &#8212; have been fairly vocal in their defense of military religious freedom, which has occasionally put them in the cross hairs of Michael &#8220;Mikey&#8221; Weinstein.<\/p>\n<p>For those that are concerned about Perkins trying to take over America for evangelical Christianity, however, it is worth noting the USCIRF is focused on <em>international<\/em> religious freedom.
