Ultimately the town decided the warring religious monuments weren&#8217;t good for the town and cancelled the entire idea, including the original kneeling soldier.<\/p>\n<p>Not only was the two-foot tall steel silhouette &#8220;banned,&#8221; but so was the one created by The Satanic Temple.<\/p>\n<p>The silhouette runs less than $100.<\/p>\n<p>The Satanic Temple forked out $35,000 for <!--more-->their monument.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-42556\" src=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/starmonument-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/starmonument-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/starmonument-768x572.jpg 768w, https:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/starmonument-1024x763.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/starmonument.jpg 2000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Now they want the government to pay them for their trouble:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Satanic Temple\u2019s attorney, Martin Flax, argues that the city\u2019s decision violated his client\u2019s First Amendment rights and constitutes a breach of contract.
