Margaret Kibben, chief of the U.S. Navy chaplains, prayed <!--more-->to the audience of nearly 500 people.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-34053\" src=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/kibben.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"250\" \/>US military associations with evangelical Christian causes &#8212; the Bible Museum is a project of the Green family, owners of Hobby Lobby &#8212; have brought condemnation in the past from such religious freedom &#8220;advocates&#8221; as Michael &#8220;Mikey&#8221; Weinstein. In fact, Weinstein has specifically equated Hobby Lobby with &#8220;Christian fundamentalists.&#8221; In further irony, Mikey Weinstein is particularly offended by the Bible, seeking to have it banned from view within the military (even on <a href=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/2016\/08\/24\/air-force-major-steve-lewis-can-keep-his-bible-on-his-desk\/\">individual troops&#8217; desks<\/a>), removed <a href=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/2016\/04\/18\/congressman-freedom-advocates-object-to-powmia-bible-removals\/\">from POW\/MIA displays<\/a>, and scrubbed <a href=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/2014\/09\/10\/mikey-weinstein-threatens-lawsuit-over-navy-bibles\/\">from military hotels<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite Weinstein&#8217;s disdain for the Bible and Hobby Lobby, given that Chaplain Kibben is endorsed by the liberal PC(USA) (and a woman), it is unlikely he will complain.
