{"id":37446,"date":"2016-11-18T00:05:19","date_gmt":"2016-11-18T03:05:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/?p=37446"},"modified":"2016-11-17T23:06:58","modified_gmt":"2016-11-18T02:06:58","slug":"mikey-weinstein-saves-air-force-from-seditious-desk-calendar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/2016\/11\/18\/mikey-weinstein-saves-air-force-from-seditious-desk-calendar\/","title":{"rendered":"Mikey Weinstein Saves Air Force from Seditious Desk Calendar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a feat of strength and intrepidity, Michael &#8220;Mikey&#8221; Weinstein saved the Air Force from itself when he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MikeyMRFF\/posts\/10154739257903410\">forced the removal<\/a> of a\u00a0Christian-y sounding desk calendar:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-37447\" src=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/wpafbcalendar.jpg\" alt=\"wpafbcalendar\" width=\"550\" height=\"309\" srcset=\"https:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/wpafbcalendar.jpg 550w, https:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/wpafbcalendar-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/>The rolodex-style calendar, which appears to be handmade and contained unattributed and misspelled quotes, was so blatantly offensive that Weinstein&#8217;s acolyte had to <!--more-->look into it further\u00a0to <em>confirm<\/em> it was offensive [emphasis added]:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>I flipped through<\/strong> different dates to confirm that it was indeed <strong>a Christian calendar<\/strong>. I discovered many other quotations with <strong>references to Jesus<\/strong> and Christianity. Whoever put it there, clearly has the intention to keep it there for the long-term.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It&#8217;s more likely whoever put it there had the intention of keeping it there until the calendar was out of date, but you get the idea.<\/p>\n<p>Still, it had quotes &#8220;with references to Jesus&#8221;! And in view of US citizens in a government facility, no less.\u00a0That settled it.
