\"harriet-tubman-1875\"The US Treasury Department announced<\/a> this week that well-known abolitionist and conductor of the underground railroad Harriet Tubman would replace Andrew Jackson<\/a> on the $20 bill<\/a> in 2020:<\/p>\n

In being featured on the front of the $20 bill, Tubman will be the first African American on U.S. paper money ever, and the first woman in 100 years.<\/p>\n

Lew called it a \u201cpowerful message,\u201d and described Tubman\u2019s life as the \u201cessential story of American democracy.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The praise of many “progressives” for the change is made amusing by the fact Tubman was motivated by her Christian faith<\/a> — even to the point of breaking the law.<\/p>\n

In today’s society, many “liberals” would have branded her a theocrat and a subversive for her decision to uphold God’s law over man’s law.<\/p>\n

When “secular progressives” figure that out, do you think they’ll go after her as strongly as the “In God We Trust<\/a>” that has adorned the $20 bill for more than half a century?<\/p>\n
