is having on military religious freedom.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding further &#8220;social change&#8221; &#8212; open service by <!--more-->those who describe themselves as &#8220;transgender&#8221; &#8212; the article implied it was a foregone conclusion actively supported by the military, saying<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Obama has consulted with military commanders who approve of lifting the ban on transgender people in the military&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For his part, Cruz noted what military leaders say in public isn&#8217;t always what they really think:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;One of the problems with the Obama Pentagon is that it\u2019s been politicized,&#8221; [Cruz] said. \u201cWhen commanders speak with you privately, their perspective on the department, it\u2019s different from what they say publicly&#8230;&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For a group that makes up a minute fraction\u00a0of the\u00a0US population,\u00a0those who ascribe\u00a0to &#8220;LGBT&#8221;
