{"id":31380,"date":"2015-05-11T00:30:38","date_gmt":"2015-05-11T03:30:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/?p=31380"},"modified":"2016-11-25T00:22:56","modified_gmt":"2016-11-25T03:22:56","slug":"military-equal-opportunity-says-bible-constitution-cause-sexism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/2015\/05\/11\/military-equal-opportunity-says-bible-constitution-cause-sexism\/","title":{"rendered":"Military Equal Opportunity Says Bible, Constitution Cause Sexism"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a now <a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2015\/04\/13\/defense-department-the-bible-constitution-and-declaration-of-independence-all-perpetuate-sexism\/\">widely reported incident<\/a>, a Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute online training course was pulled last month after a reporter made an inquiry about a slide that said the Bible, the US Constitution, and the Declaration of Independence &#8220;allow sexism to continue&#8221;:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.christianfighterpilot.com\/images\/deomibible.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The military&#8217;s Equal Opportunity channels have had a <a href=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/2014\/08\/15\/christian-commander-takes-over-military-eo-training\/\">number of high-profile missteps<\/a>, with most being dismissed as &#8220;isolated&#8221; incidents of <!--more-->individual briefers going off-script. Given the response, it would seem Department of Defense leadership wasn&#8217;t onboard with the message of this course, either.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s probably a good thing, though the obvious question is how the course was produced and approved to begin with.
