{"id":27117,"date":"2013-11-25T02:21:55","date_gmt":"2013-11-25T05:21:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/?p=27117"},"modified":"2016-11-26T00:19:46","modified_gmt":"2016-11-26T03:19:46","slug":"frc-statement-on-usafas-dr-mike-rosebush","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/2013\/11\/25\/frc-statement-on-usafas-dr-mike-rosebush\/","title":{"rendered":"FRC Statement on USAFA&#8217;s Dr. Mike Rosebush"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.frc.org\/washingtonupdate\/dems-nuke-rules-say-bomb-voyage-to-bipartisanship\">Family Research Council responded<\/a> to demands by some groups that the US Air Force Academy fire Dr. Mike Rosebush because of his beliefs:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Former Focus on the Family employee Mike Rosebush, now a research analyst for the Air Force Academy&#8217;s Center of Character and Leadership Development&#8230;has been a positive fixture on the campus, working in the ethics program that guides young cadets. Today, he&#8217;s under attack &#8212; the subject of a nationwide smear campaign to remove him from the Academy and marginalize anyone with faith-based views on sexuality&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>And while Mike &#8220;does not and will not counsel cadets,&#8221; homosexual activists are holding up his mainstream views as an example of <!--more-->&#8220;intolerance&#8221; that should no longer be condoned by the academy&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re starting to see a horrifying pattern in workplaces across the country, where conservative views are not only marginalized &#8212; but grounds for termination. In all three cases, the Christians in question never said a word about their opinions on the job&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, holding views &#8212; even if you don&#8217;t voice them &#8212; is enough to ruin your career&#8230;And yet homosexual activists are the ones screaming for workplace protections? They demand that Congress pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) to stop the harassment they tell us they&#8217;ve experienced for years on the job.
