Many Marines and soldiers adopted the label as their own.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGuys who go over pride themselves on being infidels,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Now <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stripes.com\/news\/marine-corps\/tucson-marine-sells-infidel-knives-1.246496\">Bates makes knives<\/a> &#8212; but not just any knives:\u00a0 <!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>After forging each blade, he said, he cools it in water or oil mixed with some pig\u2019s blood, which he buys at a local Asian supermarket.
