{"id":22618,"date":"2013-05-13T02:07:45","date_gmt":"2013-05-13T05:07:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/?p=22618"},"modified":"2016-11-26T01:31:39","modified_gmt":"2016-11-26T04:31:39","slug":"aclj-slams-weinstein-as-a-nut-legal-hack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/2013\/05\/13\/aclj-slams-weinstein-as-a-nut-legal-hack\/","title":{"rendered":"ACLJ Slams Weinstein as a &#8220;Nut,&#8221; Legal Hack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jay Sekulow of The American Center for Law and Justice recently <a href=\"http:\/\/media.aclj.org\/pdf\/signed-letter-to-sec-hagel-5-6-13.pdf\">sent a letter<\/a> to Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel calling on them to &#8220;repudiate&#8221; any relationship the US military had with Michael Weinstein.\u00a0 Sekulow, who once <a href=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/2007\/04\/25\/weinsteinsekulow-debate-results\/\">debated Weinstein at the US Air Force Academy<\/a>, previously called <a href=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/2013\/05\/07\/tony-perkins-banned-of-brothers-aclj-calls-weinstein-bigot\/\">Weinstein a bigot<\/a>.\u00a0 In a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onenewsnow.com\/national-security\/2013\/05\/07\/letter-to-secdef-dump-weinstein\">new article<\/a>, he&#8217;s called Weinstein a &#8220;nut&#8221; and legal hack who&#8217;s all bluster and no substance [emphasis added]:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;The rhetoric and language [Weinstein] uses is hateful; it is violent. He threatens physical violence on people. He&#8217;ll beat them up and he&#8217;ll fight to the death,&#8221; he tells American Family News. &#8220;<strong>[Weinstein] is a nut <\/strong>&#8211; and I don&#8217;t use that word lightly&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Look at [Weinstein&#8217;s] casework &#8211; oh wait, it&#8217;s very tough to find. You know why? <strong>He never won a case in court<\/strong>,&#8221; notes <!--more-->the ACLJ spokesman. &#8220;So he talks a tough talk, uses all this rhetoric [that&#8217;s] very nasty.
