{"id":22029,"date":"2013-04-01T01:03:45","date_gmt":"2013-04-01T04:03:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/?p=22029"},"modified":"2016-11-26T01:40:33","modified_gmt":"2016-11-26T04:40:33","slug":"homosexual-veteran-fined-100-for-illegal-protest-in-uniform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/2013\/04\/01\/homosexual-veteran-fined-100-for-illegal-protest-in-uniform\/","title":{"rendered":"Homosexual Veteran Fined $100 for Illegal Protest in Uniform"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Remember Dan Choi?\u00a0 Most people probably don&#8217;t.\u00a0 He was the homosexual US Army veteran, a former Lieutenant,\u00a0who <a href=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/2010\/11\/16\/civilian-dan-choi-protests-in-uniform-again\/\">led protests outside the White House in an Army uniform<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The trial for his 2010 arrest, before which he&#8217;d chained himself to the White House fence line and then &#8220;went limp&#8221; while being arrested, finally ended.\u00a0 He was convicted and\u00a0<!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/www.armytimes.com\/news\/2013\/03\/ap-gay-west-point-grad-choi-fined-white-house-protest-032813\/\">given a $100 fine<\/a>.\u00a0 That&#8217;s probably the same thing the other protesters were given nearly three years ago, when they accepted responsibility for their actions.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Choi was one of 13 people arrested after they handcuffed themselves to the White House fence. His trial began in 2011 but was put on hold during an appeal.
