{"id":21088,"date":"2013-01-17T02:19:50","date_gmt":"2013-01-17T05:19:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/?p=21088"},"modified":"2016-11-26T01:58:34","modified_gmt":"2016-11-26T04:58:34","slug":"pentagon-backs-army-spouse-club-on-homosexuals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/2013\/01\/17\/pentagon-backs-army-spouse-club-on-homosexuals\/","title":{"rendered":"Pentagon Backs Army Spouse Club on Homosexuals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to Buzzfeed, the Pentagon has supported Fort Bragg&#8217;s stance that an <a href=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/2013\/01\/02\/homosexual-denied-membership-in-army-spouses-club\/\">Army spouse group<\/a> is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buzzfeed.com\/chrisgeidner\/army-base-will-allow-spouses-group-to-exclude-lesb\">not required to accept homosexuals<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Pentagon spokesman Nathan Christensen explained the current policy to BuzzFeed: &#8220;When [a private group] asks for authority to operate on a base, it must comply with all applicable DOD instructions and directives and laws, in this case [Department of Defense Instruction] 1000.15.&#8221;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>A Pentagon spokesman added late Tuesday that the Department of Defense &#8220;neither drafts, executes nor exercises control over the Club or its governing documents.
