Many things in the “blogosphere” or even in the news tend to be covered only in the most superficial way.\u00a0 At times, for a Christian, even discussions from other Christians may not broach the depth or academic\/theological rigor that may be desired.<\/p>\n

A source that attempts to fill that void is the Journal of Faith and War<\/em>, which has been referenced here before<\/a>.\u00a0 Both the Fall and Summer 2012 editions are available on the JFW website and cover a gamut of topics, writers, and perspectives.\u00a0 Again, they bring the depth and rigor other sites may lack — which means the articles may be both well-researched and fairly long.<\/p>\n

Interesting submissions include commentaries on religious freedom<\/a> inspired by the Obama administration’s response to Benghazi, Os Guiness’ “A Time to Stand<\/a>,” and the fascinating (but very long) “Beyond the Limits of Codified Morality: A Christian Military Ethic<\/a>,” by a Royal Air Force College PhD.<\/p>\n
