A national contemporary Christian radio station and Christian music group Big Daddy Weave are teaming up to provide for needy military families this Christmas.<\/p>\n
The campaign is inspired by a song on Big Daddy Weave’s 2009 Christmas album Christ is Come<\/em>.\u00a0 Called I’ll Be Brave This Christmas<\/em>, it is sung from the perspective of a little boy who wishes not for presents, but for the safety and return of his father deployed to war.\u00a0 The song, which will likely be an emotional one for those with men and women in uniform this Christmas, can be heard on the music player on Big Daddy Weave’s website<\/a>\u00a0and previewed on Amazon’s sale page for the album<\/a>.<\/p>\n K-Love<\/a> is a national radio station that has long sponsored a “Wall of Prayer” for the “brave men and women serving the United States.”\u00a0 From their “Wall of Prayer” website<\/a>, as well as Big Daddy Weave’s article<\/a>, people can submit the names<\/a> and information of needy military families.\u00a0 Specific recipients will be selected, and Amazon.com will host online gift registries for those families.\u00a0 Starting December 14th, the registries will be online and\u00a0people will be encouraged to fulfill those needs.<\/p>\n
