Jacob DeShazer (the bombardier on the last B-25 in the Doolittle Raid) has died. DeShazer was famous not only for his role in the raid, but also for his post-war activities.\u00a0 The man who once hated his Japanese enemies with a vitriolic passion would become a Christian in their prison and return to evangelize them.\u00a0 His story led to the conversion of Captain Mitsuo Fuchida, said to\u00a0be the flight leader of the attack on Pearl Harbor.\u00a0 Fuchida himself became a missionary in Asia and the United States.<\/p>\n<p>The text of a pamphlet DeShazer wrote, which was widely distributed in Japan after the war, can be seen at the bottom of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.doolittleraider.com\/raiders\/deshazer.htm\">this website<\/a>.\u00a0 His story was also made into a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dhp.org\/Products\/From-Vengeance-to-Forgiveness\u2014Jake-DeShazers-Extraordinary-Journey-(DVD)__DV735.aspx\">documentary<\/a>\u00a0called <em>From Vengeance to Forgiveness<\/em>.\u00a0 His story was also chronicled several years ago <a href=\"http:\/\/www.christianitytoday.com\/tc\/7r6\/7r6034.html\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to an AF.mil article, Staff Sgt.
