Fox News and Commentary indicated retired LtGen William Jerry Boykin withdrew<\/a> from the\u00a0February 8th National Prayer Breakfast at West Point — after West Point asked <\/em>him to withdraw<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Military Academy pressured a retired U.S. lieutenant general to withdraw from speaking at a West Point prayer breakfast after Muslims and atheists complained, Fox News & Commentary has learned…<\/p>\n

“[Boykin] asked them to rescind the invitation, but they were reluctant to do that so he said he would take them off the hook.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The article also\u00a0noted Michael Weinstein jumping the shark over the incident:<\/p>\n

Weinstein said in a press release. “All individuals within the command structure responsible for inviting this vile Islamophobe must be held accountable via courts martial.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Right.\u00a0 And what of the “religiophobes and Christophobes<\/a>” invited to other military facilities?\u00a0 Weinstein not only threatens lawsuits if they’re <\/em>not allowed, he’s also been one of them<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council noted that “military leaders” are apparently bristling at the apparent anti-Christian influence against the US military.\u00a0 He also indicated the ‘problem’ started at the top:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you talk to military leaders on the base, they don\u2019t like this,\u201d Perkins said. \u201cThere seems to be pressure coming from within the administration to sweep Christianity off the face of military bases.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Sally Quinn at the Washington Post <\/em>was quite disturbed by West Point’s decision<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Could it be that Boykin\u2019s hateful comments, if said about Christians or Jews, would not have led to an invitation to speak…?\u00a0 Where is that zero-tolerance policy against bigotry now…?\u00a0 The person who allowed this to happen, whether it be the superintendent or someone else, should go.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

She fails to mention who “should go” in other cases when the US military has hosted people who have <\/em>made<\/a> “hateful comments…about Christians or Jews.”<\/p>\n

Finally, OneNewsNow directly called out Michael Weinstein<\/a> [emphasis added]:<\/p>\n
