Called Dad."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CNN has the <a href=\"http:\/\/security.blogs.cnn.com\/2012\/01\/17\/exclusive-downed-pilots-tell-their-tale\/\">&#8220;exclusive&#8221; interview<\/a> with the two-man crew of the F-15E <em>Strike Eagle <\/em>that <a href=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/2011\/03\/22\/us-fighter-downed-in-libya\/\">went down in Libya<\/a> (for <a href=\"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/2011\/12\/20\/fighter-downed-by-weight-imbalance\/\">technical reasons<\/a>).\u00a0 The pilot, Maj. Kenneth Harney,\u00a0evaded and was rescued by US Marines.\u00a0 The backseat WSO, Capt. Tyler Stark,\u00a0was &#8216;captured&#8217; by &#8216;friendly&#8217; Libyan rebels and repatriated.<\/p>\n<p>Once in the custody of the Libyan rebels, Stark couldn&#8217;t figure out <!--more-->how to contact friendly forces for a rescue.\u00a0 So he used a cell phone to call his dad.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>with the stress Stark couldn&#8217;t remember the number to call in the UK for rescue, so, he called his father, from Libya.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In the age of cell phones, whose number do you know off the top of your head? Well, your parents.
