{"id":11259,"date":"2011-06-02T01:47:21","date_gmt":"2011-06-02T06:47:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/?p=11259"},"modified":"2011-06-02T01:47:21","modified_gmt":"2011-06-02T06:47:21","slug":"us-marines-share-faith-together","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/christianfighterpilot.com\/blog\/2011\/06\/02\/us-marines-share-faith-together\/","title":{"rendered":"US Marines Share Faith Together"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Each Tuesday morning a group of Marines meets at Camp Pendleton&#8217;s Del Mar mess hall to discuss a book chapter applying their faith to their lives.\u00a0 The informal group is an excellent example of military members simply choosing to meet, encourage and challenge each other, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dvidshub.net\/news\/70707\/marines-and-sailors-have-breakfast-with-faith\">fellowship together with those of like mind<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The group is made up of all ranks, including a Master Gunnery Sgt and a Colonel.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Master Gunnery Sgt. Isaac T. Black&#8230;[said] &#8220;Wanting to study something with a spiritual aspect is what brought us together.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Currently the group is studying the book <!--more-->&#8220;A Man After God\u2019s Own Heart.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sharing your faith is something you don\u2019t want to keep within,&#8221; said Col. Steve B. Nichols&#8230;&#8221;Any group like this is a good idea.
