He knew them all and interacted with them regularly&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Two of the Soldiers obviously depended strongly on the Chaplain for their spiritual support:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Sgt. 1st Class Charles Adkins, described by Hardy as a \u201cman of God,\u201d stayed right next to him in the barracks at Gamberi.<\/p>\n<p>He recalled Sgt.
