President Donald Trump on Religious Freedom

Our Republic was formed on the basis that freedom is not a gift from government, but that freedom is a gift from God.

It was the great Thomas Jefferson who said, “The God who gave us life, gave us liberty.” Jefferson asked, “Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God?”…

Freedom of religion is a sacred right, but Read more

Troops Put Faith Above Country — and Mikey Weinstein Doesn’t Care

For all Michael “Mikey” Weinstein’s vociferous pontifications on the principles of religious liberty, faith, and the US government, he’s never targeted other religions as he has Christianity. Weinstein and his acolytes are fond of accusing Christians in the military of being “dominionists” who put their faith above national allegiance.  Weinstein is even quoted on his own website making the hypernationalistic assertion that

There is only one religious symbol: the American flag.
There is only one religious scripture: the American Constitution.
Finally, there is only one religious faith: American patriotism.

Putting aside the similarities between Weinstein’s shockingly tone-deaf quote and 1930s Germany, it is worth noting Weinstein and his MRFF have never had quite the same Read more

Moody AFB Supports Habitat for Humanity

Moody Air Force Base recently published a heartwarming article detailing how Moody’s Airmen helped build a house in the local community:

Volunteers from the local community came out to build frames, pound nails, secure siding and much more over the weekend, but Moody showed up in full force.

“Volunteers from Moody are going to be the bulk of the manpower for this house,” said [Kamille Dean, Habitat for Humanity volunteer coordinator]… Read more

BYU May Lose ROTC Program Over Moral Code

The Salt Lake Tribune reported that Brigham Young University’s newest ROTC instructor, US Air Force Col Timothy “Raptor” Hogan, objected to BYU’s required moral code — which is required for him to be recognized as a faculty member, and which BYU refused to waive:

BYU is owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Students and faculty are required to adhere to prohibitions against alcohol, drugs, coffee, premarital sex and other activities contrary to the beliefs of the faith. The U.S. military assigns instructors to ROTC programs…

US Marine Corps: Males, Females will Bunk Together

The US Marine Corps — which was the only Service to significantly push back on gender integration last year — announced that it would make no special accommodations for mixed gender units in deployed environments.

That includes training for deployed environments.

Marines in the field stay in everything from a large, single room shelter filled with dozens of cots to sleeping under tarps or nothing at all, said Maj. Charles Anklam III, executive officer for 1st Battalion, 8th Marines at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina — the first gender-integrated Marine infantry battalion…

Anklam said female Marines deployed to conflict zones have shared tents with their male counterparts at times. But this marks the first time female Marines will be doing so during their regular training with their combat unit.

In 2013 then-Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen Mark Welsh noted the “hookup mentality” of society contributed to the culture of sexuality in the military. He was criticized for his frankness, which was ultimately a statement of the obvious.

Speaking on the same topic of military sexual assaults that same day, future-President Donald Trump criticized the “geniuses” who decided to put men and women together and Read more

US Military Chaplains Group Criticizes Jewish Troops’ Religious Beliefs

The Forum on the Military Chaplaincy presents itself as a “tolerant” and progressive organization for the military chaplaincy. On their website, they say their goal is to

provide an inclusive, socially and spiritually responsive program…to extend a welcome and affirming presence to the troops and military families…

The Forum was founded to use the chaplaincy to help repeal the policy known as “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” which helps explain their appeal to be “inclusive.” However, the “inclusiveness” of these progressive “Christians” apparently does not extend to orthodox Jewish beliefs.

Last Saturday, Tom Carpenter — the homosexual Read more

The Agenda of the Forum on the Military Chaplaincy

by Sonny Hernandez

“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them” (Ephesians 5:11)

The Forum on the Military Chaplaincy (FOMC) is disreputably known to Christianfighterpilot.com as I have exposed their counterfeit Christianity in the past. The FOMC is a homosexual affirming forum that conducts themselves under the guise of Christianity, and is led by two homosexual men named Paul Dodd and Tom Carpenter. Dodd is a retired military chaplain who is now an apostate, homosexual advocate while Carpenter lives with his gay husband Art Andrade and serves as an Elder in a Presbyterian church that is part of a denomination that affirms homosexual marriage.

On January 28, 2017, the FOMC posted a provoking message on Facebook to evoke their liberal patrons about a cogent theological response I made to an article written on Christianfighterpilot.com:  Read more

Breaking: Mikey Weinstein FOIA Lawsuit Dismissed with Prejudice

Michael “Mikey” Weinstein settled his FOIA lawsuit with the US Air Force Academy last week (making it the first lawsuit against the military/government he’s filed that wasn’t summarily tossed out). Weinstein had filed the lawsuit after he alleged USAFA was unresponsive to his Freedom of Information Act request.

One of USAFA’s complaints about Weinstein’s FOIA was that it was overly broad, and the settlement appears to specifically address that concern by having Weinstein cite the specific location of record searches and the subjects of the records sought.

(For the uninitiated, that information should have been in the initial FOIA request Weinstein Read more
