USAF Civil Air Patrol Members Wear Uniforms to Church

It happens to every new military member at some point.

Mom asks you to wear your uniform to church.

At the beginning of December the Civil Air Patrol also asked its members to wear their uniforms to church on the weekend of Pearl Harbor Day.

CAP, an official auxiliary of the US Air Force, was founded the week prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, and the annual “CAP Sunday” was part of its 74th anniversary celebration.

US troops are free to wear their uniforms to church, much to the delight of mothers everywhere.

Also at the Stars and Stripes.
