As noted in an Army news release, in coordination with other parachurch ministries, the Spirit of Fort Hood Chapel recently hosted a Rough Cut Men Conference, a Christian relationship-building seminar for men:

The conference, designed for men, used movie clips and current events to get men talking with one another in an authentic and transparent way.

“The purpose of RCM, in a nutshell, is to help men make friends…so they end up with a ‘battle buddy’ so to speak,” said Sarasota, Fla. native, David Dusek, founder and executive director of Rough Cut Men Ministries.

The ultimate goal seems to be to give Godly men a chance to link up and improve themselves and each other — and, by extension, their families, churches, and units.

Dusek has previously brought Rough Cut Men to West Point and Annapolis, Quantico, and Teen Challenge.
