The Agenda of the Forum on the Military Chaplaincy

by Sonny Hernandez

“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them” (Ephesians 5:11)

The Forum on the Military Chaplaincy (FOMC) is disreputably known to Christianfighterpilot.com as I have exposed their counterfeit Christianity in the past. The FOMC is a homosexual affirming forum that conducts themselves under the guise of Christianity, and is led by two homosexual men named Paul Dodd and Tom Carpenter. Dodd is a retired military chaplain who is now an apostate, homosexual advocate while Carpenter lives with his gay husband Art Andrade and serves as an Elder in a Presbyterian church that is part of a denomination that affirms homosexual marriage.

On January 28, 2017, the FOMC posted a provoking message on Facebook to evoke their liberal patrons about a cogent theological response I made to an article written on Christianfighterpilot.com:  Read more

Religious Troops: Is God First in Your Life? Then Get Out.

Military troops of faith — Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and others — have long served in the US military. They have done so with honor and distinction, earning the highest accolades and making the highest sacrifices.

And former Army officer Sue Fulton thinks they shouldn’t be allowed to serve in the military at all.

As discussed by Sonny Hernandez, in an interview with the New York Times Fulton was aghast that military chaplains have the gall to claim their God is greater than their government — and they should therefore not be in the military:

Some chaplains argue: ‘My first responsibility is to God.’ Well, if your responsibility is to God and not the Army, you need to get out of the Army.

Hernandez accurately summarized Fulton’s intolerant and ultimately unconstitutional advocacy:

[When] Fulton argues that chaplains should get out of the military if God is first in their lives, she is establishing a religion over theirs…She is [saying] the Constitution only works one way, and that the Defense Department’s policy on pluralism is extended only to those with convictions are agreeable to hers.

Fulton’s declaration is utterly ridiculous — and bigoted. Millions of troops before Read more

ATTN Air Force Public Affairs: There is hope in Christ, as told by one of your own

by Sonny Hernandez

Over the course of the past year, I have been writing articles about the perception the military censors articles that reference Christian sentiments. This can be concurred since a simple internet search will unveil a fact that homosexual testimonials and diversity day celebratory events that promote sexual immorality (LGBT) are allowed to be published on official military publications, while references of Christian testimonials that articulate Christ as Lord appear to be obscured.

Over the past few years, a few articles with Christian references were published on Air Force publications but were later redacted as a result of anti-God complaints. I have personally been told by military officials that a reference to Jesus Christ will stir up issues, and I was even told to keep Christ out of any articles that I write! My response? I will never deny Christ!

Air Force Hosts Diversity Day for Holocaust Remembrance & Sexual Immorality

by Sonny Hernandez

Moody Air Force Base recently sponsored a “diversity day” to celebrate women’s equality, Asian American and Pacific Islander month, LGBT pride, and, unconventionally, they included Holocaust remembrance in this “celebration”.

moodydiversThe keynote speaker for the event was retired Air Force Major Leonard “Laura” Perry. Perry claims to be a woman but is actually a man, as he will always be because that is how God made him according to Scripture (Genesis 1:1, 27).

The Design for Human Sexuality

by Sonny Hernandez

A Gospel Tract for service members who struggle with sexually immoral conduct
(LGBTQ, fornication, adultery, incest and bestiality)

Important Note: If you are a service member in any branch of the Armed Forces and you are struggling with sexual immorality (LGBTQ, fornication, adultery, incest, and bestiality), please know that you are not alone. As a Christian, I pray regularly for you, and I care about your eternal destiny. Please accept this tract as a gift from me to you. It will help you understand your purpose in life, the problem of evil, the good news of salvation, and God’s design for human sexuality. Though the government has adopted permissive policies regarding sexually immoral conduct, you must understand these lifestyles are contrary to the Word of God.

How Can Christians serve with LGBT service members in the Armed Forces?

A Military Chaplain’s Practical Perspective, Part 2

by Sonny Hernandez

The lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) movement is drifting the military culture away from the Lord and into lewdness. An observer may wonder if patriotism is being replaced with perversion, or honorable service is substituted for homosexuality, and if serving with integrity is now sexual immorality, based upon the current policies that are manifesting themselves in the Armed Forces.

The military ultimately reflects the culture from which it is drawn, as demonstrated when Defense Secretary Ash Carter announced transgender individuals will be able to openly serve, which will result in transgender training for service members in the future. The full policy will be completely implemented no later than July 1, 2017. An observer may also deduce that this will add to the woes for Bible-believing Christians that are serving in the US military.

LGBT advocates will demand that they be “treated with love and acceptance,” but will threaten Read more

Did USAFA Chaplains Participate in Historical or Halloween Event?

usafachaplainsby Sonny Hernandez

On October 29, 2016, US Air Force Academy chaplains participated in a self-described ecumenical event to “explore the upcoming 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation.” A USAFA release described the event as analogous to the service “led by Pope Francis and Bishop Munib Younan in Lund Sweden, on October 31,” where Catholics and Lutherans were “urged to take decisive steps toward unity.

A Christian observer would not see this type of event as ecumenical, but evil. The Protestant Reformation was not a celebration between Catholics and Lutherans. It was a time of protest and schism because of the Roman Catholic corruption.
