Military LGBT Activists See Ray of Hope in Anthony Kurta

President Trump recently nominated retired Rear Admiral Anthony Kurta to become the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness. RAdm Kurta’s name is familiar because he’s been filling in as the Under Secretary for some time, as President Trump’s administration has been slow to fill appointee positions.

And in that nomination, LGBT activists see a ray of hope.

The office of Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness is responsible for recruiting, retention, health affairs, “quality of life”, among other colloquialisms for “people”. By virtue of a memorandum issued by then-Secretary of Defense Ash Carter under President Obama, the USDPR is the office tasked with creating, managing, and overseeing the policies with regard to transgender issues.  That’s the office currently run by Kurta, and for which he is nominated to be Deputy.

Far from being behind the scenes, Anthony Kurta has been front and center on sexual issues as Read more

Breaking: US Military Officially Delays Transgender Enlistment

Update: Now at FoxNews, Stars and Stripes, and CNN.  Ashley Broadway’s activist AMPA is now actively seeking personal interest transgender stories to advance its cause.

In a brief press release, the US Department of Defense has officially delayed “accessing transgender applicants” — that is, enlisting people who describe themselves as transgender — until January 2018.

The second sentence of the two-sentence release contains some insight into why the delay is occurring:

The services will review their accession plans and provide input on the impact to the readiness and lethality of our forces.

In other words, the impact to the US military’s “readiness and lethality” is still in question, should Read more

Breaking: World Will End if Transgenders Banned from US Military

There are indications that successful attempts to use the US military as a tool for normalizing neo-sexuality in the American culture are coming to a grinding halt. President Trump’s decision not to proclaim American “pride” in homosexual behavior for the month of June gave LGBT activists a case of the vapors, and more recent news indicates the DoD is pushing back against allowing transgenders to enlist (previously discussed) [emphasis added]:

Military chiefs will seek a six-month delay before letting transgender people enlist in their services, officials said Friday…

Officials said Friday that the chiefs believe the extra half-year would give the four military services time to gauge if currently serving transgender troops are facing problems and what necessary changes the military bases might have to make.

Despite the fact a longer delay was denied, it’s that second sentence that Read more

First Woman on a Fast Attack Sub Raises Interesting Question

Even though neither President Trump nor Secretary of Defense James Mattis issued any kind of “gay pride month” proclamations, quite a few lower level military units are proceeding with such celebrations anyway.  In that spirit, Ashley Broadway’s American Military Partner Association, a homosexual activist group, recently posted a picture to its Facebook page of the “first woman to report to a fast attack submarine.”

In the picture, then-LtJG Kara Smith sports a hat from Read more

Pilots Join DC Gay Pride Parade

Every now and then someone critiques the idea of there being a “Christian Fighter Pilot.” For some (generally non-Christians), it is the perceived “oxymoron” of being a follower of Christ while simultaneously being a military combatant. Many who are trying to find something to gripe about critique the idea that there needs to be a “descriptor” to discriminate about types of fighter pilots. Why not just be fighter pilots?

In fairness, though, Christians haven’t been the only ones to “celebrate” their contribution to the military mission — or even being a fighter pilot. For example, a few years ago, the Atheist Fighter Pilot made a short-lived showing here, and religious groups and organizations have sprung up for a variety of faiths.

Apparently, pilots can be known for their faith, their lack of faith…

…and how they like to have sex.

This past weekend, one of the participants in the Capital Pride Read more

USAA Returns Ads to Hannity After Pressure, But Still Supports Gay Gala

USAA pulled its advertising after an uproar surrounding FoxNews personality Sean Hannity — and then reversed course after its members complained:

USAA released a statement confirming it had reinstated its Hannity advertisements as a result of the outcry.

“We heard concerns from many members who watch and listen to these programs.

“Our goal in advertising has always been to reach members of the military community who would benefit from USAA’s well-known commitment to service.”

Kind of makes you wonder how those same conservative Hannity supporters would feel to know USAA has become an annual sponsor of Ashley Broadway’s AMPA gay gala. The annual party’s sole purpose is Read more

Mark Green Withdraws from Nomination for Secretary of the Army

Tennessee state senator Mark Green has withdrawn his name from consideration for the position of Secretary of the Army.

“To meet these challenges, there should be no distractions. And unfortunately due to false and misleading attacks against me, this nomination has become a distraction,” [Mark Green] said in his statement.

“Tragically, my life of public service and my Christian beliefs have been mischaracterized and attacked by a few on the other side of the aisle for political gain,” he continued. “While these false attacks have no bearing on the needs of the Army or my qualifications to serve, I believe it is critical to give the President the ability to move forward with his vision to restore our military to its rightful place in the world.”

Army Nominee Mark Green Faces Homosexual Movement’s Religious Test

If critics can stop Mark Green from serving because of his Christian beliefs — will they next target Christians already serving in the military?

Opponents of Mark Green, President Trump’s nominee for Secretary of the Army, have been piling on for the past couple of days and have now solidified on arguing about when — not if — Green will withdraw from consideration.

Mark Green is in a similar position to many Christians in this country. It is politically palatable to misrepresent, caricature, and attack his beliefs — and there are entire organizations built around the advocacy of sexual behavior more than willing to oppose him being allowed to serve in government.
