MRFF Petition Garners 5 Signatures in Month

The White House We The People website says the Administration will respond to petitions that garner 100,000 signatures in 30 days.

Due today, an MRFF petition to “investigate claim[s] of the military indoctrinating religious fundamentalism” only needed 99,995 more signatures.  Five people signed it in 30 days.

Must be that swelling grassroots movement he claims — or maybe its Michael Weinstein’s winning charm.

In the end, it is unlikely more PR would have made a difference.  The military atheist petition started by MRFF ally and former US Army Sgt Dustin Chalker sits unanswered by the White House — since October 2011.
