IG Dismissed Teichert Complaint without Investigating

Most know by now, but for those who don’t, US Air Force BGen John Teichert has been cleared following Michael “Mikey” Weinstein’s 22-page complaint about his religious beliefs.

It turns out the Inspector General didn’t even investigate. It did the required first step — analyze the complaint — and determined Weinstein’s complaint was so frivolous it didn’t even warrant an investigation.

Mikey Weinstein’s reaction was typical:

Yep, that’s right! Brig. Gen. Teichert can espouse as much Christian Nationalist Extremism and Religious Bigotry as he likes, just add a disclaimer and it’s all good by the U.S. Air Force!

Hypocritical, since Weinstein’s MRFF was the one that brought up the disclaimer.

Hysterical, since not even Mikey Weinstein asserted “religious bigotry” on BGen Teichert’s part.

Bigoted, since Weinstein’s MRFF is opposing only the content of BGen Teichert’s religion. Mikey Weinstein is after BGen Teichert only because of what he believes — nothing more. That’s not religious freedom, Mikey, and it is counter to our very US Constitution — but then, you and everybody else already know that.

Mikey Weinstein seems to think those who aren’t the MRFF-approvedTM Right Kind of Christian don’t deserve the same rights as every one else.
