Coast Guard Chaplain to Be Next Chaplain of Marine Corps

US Navy Chaplain (CAPT) Thomas Walcott recently became the Chaplain of the Coast Guard, replacing US Navy Chaplain (CAPT) Gregory Todd.

Chaplain Todd has apparently been nominated to the rank of Rear Admiral, to become Deputy Chief of Navy Chaplains — which would also make him dual-hatted as the Chaplain of the Marine Corps.

The current Chaplain of the Navy, Chaplain (RAdm) Margaret Kibben, also served as the Chaplain of the Marine Corps previous to her rise to the Navy position.
