McChrystal Speaks at Prayer Breakfast

Retired US Army Chaplain (Col) Scott McChrystal spoke at the 25th Infantry Division and US Army Hawaii Prayer Breakfast on March 15th:

“Technology. Health care. Taxes. I guess I should throw in politics, throw in religion…There’s a whole lot going on,” he said. “It’s kind of like what they taught in War College. Ambiguity, uncertainty, just a whole bunch of stuff we don’t know as we try to look at the future and wonder what in the world is around the corner.”

McChrystal encouraged his listeners not to “dread the times,” citing the Psalms “The Lord is my Shepherd…” and the example of King David as a reminder that we were created with a purpose.
