DADT Repeal Advocate Nominated for Army Undersecretary

Patrick Murphy, described as “one of the leading lawmakers in the effort to repeal the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” law,” has been nominated to the post of Under Secretary of the Army.

He is slated to replace the man who is expected to become his boss, current Army Undersecretary and former Acting Secretary of the Air Force Eric Fanning.

If Fanning, who has bounced around top level DoD jobs for the last couple of years, becomes the Secretary of the Army, he will undoubtedly be celebrated as the highest ranking open homosexual in the US military.
